Question about removing moles

Hey,

I've got a concentration of around 6 moles (don't really know if
that's the correct translation from dutch) on back-bottom of my left
cheek. They're all real close to each other, they cover around 2 cm²
of my entire face.

I can't stand them, it's probably something psychological, but I got
real issues about them. Every time I look in the mirror, one way or
another I notice them.. even when looking straight into the mirror
(when they actually aren't visible at all). If you look at them from
far it seems like I got some kind of dark-brown circle drawn on my
face.
On top of that, I got a real pale skin... It tans, but the tan will
fade quite fast. So it's even more noticeable during Winter.

Now, I've done some research on how to remove them, I've read about
lasers and I'm going to call to make an appointment with a doctor. But
can anyone please give me some more information? I've looked around
the net, without much success. Some questions I have are for example
if I will be able to walk around in the sun after the treatment; how
much will the treatment cost?; what are the chances of failing?;
etc ...

I know it might sound a little specific and all, but any kind of
information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Christophe

Try the link:

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/moles/DS00121
where you will find lots of information.

To find even more info, type the word moles in the
search box on the top right side of the page and
you have a lot more hits.

The Mayo Clinic has a great reputation here in the US

Another good source is www.drweil.com

Good luck!

I actually had several moles in the same area (and other places) and I
was able to successfully remove them myself with an at home product.

I wanted to stay away from surgery because I didn't really want scars
on my face you know? It only took about 20 minutes for this stuff to
start working and in about a week my moles were gone. I've used it
several times since with more good results.

Before you make any move to spend your money. I
suggest you visit:

1 www.drweil.com and
2 www.mayoclinic.com

and search under moles.

You will undoubtedly get lots of good advice
there. DrWeil's web site leans more towards
alternative medicine, which is often kinder and
always costs less.

Always make surgery your VERY LAST choice.

Good luck!
